Who operates Scout

Privaj operates Privaj Scout, a model discovery and comparison website. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions, corrections, or requests. The legal operator’s full name and public contact address are pending confirmation; use the email above for current contact.

What stays in your browser

Search, model comparisons, and hardware-report entry run in your browser. With optional storage off, your choices remain in page memory only. If you allow preferences, Scout saves selected models, followed makers, filters, comparisons, hardware settings, personal reports, and your last-visit timestamp on this device. These records are not uploaded to our server.

We store a small essential record of your privacy decision, valid for 180 days. Optional records stay until deleted or cleared by the browser. Read the Cookies & storage policy for the complete inventory and controls. We do not sell your personal data or use advertising or analytics trackers in this version.

Website delivery and catalog updates

Scout runs on Privaj’s Lenovo server and is delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes connection information, including your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and security events, to deliver and protect the website. Request information can also reach our server. The application does not maintain a visitor account database or visitor analytics history. Operational software can record errors and service events. Provider and operational log retention periods are still being documented.

The server retrieves public model metadata from Hugging Face and keeps the catalog and seven daily local backups. Those backups contain model information, not your browser’s saved models or hardware reports. Source requests do not include your searches, follows, or reports. Background catalog checks are separate from marketing or personal notifications.

Contact and form information

Support links open an email draft. A message is sent only if you choose to send it in your email application. We then receive your email address, message, and any attachments through Gmail to respond to your request. Do not include passwords, API keys, payment details, or sensitive personal information.

The hardware-report form saves only to this browser, according to your storage choice. It does not submit a public report or subscribe you to anything. There is no newsletter, marketing mailing list, payment form, or account registration in this version.

Privacy settings let you withdraw permission for optional storage. Handling a support email is for responding to the request; it is not permission to send marketing. Support-email retention and the applicable lawful basis will be documented for the public service after operator details are finalized.

Your controls and requests

You can change storage choices, export saved records, and delete Scout data in Privacy settings. Clearing browser data does not delete messages already sent to support. Email us to request access, correction, or deletion of support correspondence; we may ask for proportionate information to verify the request. Depending on the laws that apply, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, obtain a portable copy, or complain to your privacy regulator.

Cloudflare, Gmail, and your own email provider may process information in other countries under their policies. Email providers may retain backup copies. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its data handling. Source websites apply their own privacy practices when you open their links. No third-party font service or media embed is needed to display this site.

Changes to this notice

We update this notice when data handling changes. New optional purposes will not be enabled under your old storage choice. This public beta notice will be updated as the remaining operator details, retention periods, and jurisdiction-specific requirements are confirmed. Contact [email protected] with questions.
